			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Asian Village - An encounter with sound and visual artists from Asia and Europe </strong></p>
<p>city transit Asia-Europe will take part in the realisation of &#8216;Asian Village&#8217; - an interdisciplinary project with an exciting programme including, music, sound art, film, talks and street acts. </p>
<p>The Gumpendorfer Strasse in Vienna will be transformed into a place for cultural encounters during 23-24 May. Artists and musicians from China, Indonesian, Japan, Kasachstan, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Austria, Germany and the UK will be participating in the project. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&#8216;Asian Village&#8217; is initiated by &#8216;Into the City&#8217;, an urban culture series of the renowned Vienna Festival. In cooperation with Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and all commercial outlets along the Gumpendorfer Strasse 1-12 (Cafe phil, IG Bildende Kunst, Das Möbel, Restaurants Ramien, <span>ShanghaiTan, Schnitt!)</span></p>
